2 egg whites
pinch of salt
2/3 c. sugar
6 oz. of chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º
Beat egg whites with salt until thick. Add sugar slowly and beat until stiff peaks form. Stir in chocolate and nuts.
Drop by teaspoon on foil lined cookie sheet.

Put cookies in oven. Turn off oven and leave for 8 hours.

These are great. From my mother, look pretty and taste good. Not the best for high humidity weather.
Key is to turn oven off and to not open oven until the 8 hours are up.
