1/2 c. butter
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Add sugar and eggs; mix thoroughly.
2. Sift flour with baking powder; stir into creamed mixture.
3. Mix in vanilla and nuts.
4. Bake in greased and floured pan at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
5. Cool slightly. Cut into bars. Cool completely in pans.

NOTE: This recipe may be doubled, and baked in 9x13 pan for 35-40 minutes.
