1 package dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/4 c. soft butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 t. salt
1-1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 to 2-1/2 c. all purpose flour

Coconut Filling
1/2 c. soft butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. cinnamon

Glaze
1-1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1-2 T. evaporated milk.

1. Soften 1 packet dry yeast in 1/2 c. warm water.
2. Cream butter and sugar together.
3. Blend in eggs, evaporated milk, lukewarm water, salt and softened yeast.
4. Add 1-1/2 c. flour; beat well. Cover and let rise in warm place 30 minutes.
5. Add remaining flour to form a stiff dough. Knead on floured board until smoother--about 5 minutes.
6. Cover and let rise in a warm place 30-45 minutes.
7. Combine coconut filling ingredients.
8. Divide dough in half.
9. Press 3/4 of one half of dough into bottom and sides of well-greased 9 inch ring mold. Top with one half of filling.
10. Make 24 inch roll with remaining 1/4 of dough. Place on filling.
11. Brush with evaporated milk.
12. Repeat with remaining dough.
13. Let rise in warm place until light--45-60 minutes.
14. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from pans. Glaze while warm.
