2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
2 c. canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie filling)
3 c. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1. t. cloves
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. nutmeg
nuts (optional

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat sugar and oil together.
2. Blend in eggs and pumpkin.
3. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add to sugar, oil, egg and pumpkin mixture.
4. Add nuts.
5. Line bottom of tube pan with waxed paper.
6. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. 15 min. If making loaves, bake for 1 hour.
