Grilled corn is simply a knockout. Everybody loves it young and old and it can be prepared in so many different ways. Cooking the corn is simple. They're just a few basics that you need to do. First step is to take your corn in the husk and put it in the sink and submerge it in water. Let it set there until your corn is totally saturated. Next place the corn on a hot grill directly over your charcoal and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the corn has steamed through thoroughly. Remove your corn and remove the husks. Based your corn with butter and any combination of the seasonings above and put it back on the grill directly over high heat to brown it up. You can re-season after you take the corn off the grill to your tastes.

I truly love grilled corn more than just about any other vegetable dish. Cooking the corn is easy if you follow the steps above. What makes it special is all the variations of condiments that you can put on the corn after it's been grilled. Salted butter is my basic go to for obvious reasons and my favorite add-on is smoked paprika chili powder and cayenne pepper. You can just put bowls of these different condiments on the table and let people sprinkle it on as they see fit. No matter what you do it's going to turn out great if the corn is good and fresh and sweet.
