9 c flour
1/4 c sugar
2 1/3 c powdered milk
1 T salt
1/3 c baking powder
2 c shortening

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pan, stir the dry milk, baking powder, sugar and salt into the flour; mix thoroughly.

Cut the shortening into the dry ingredients until the MIX is the consistency of corn meal.

Place the mix in a covered glass or plastic container and keep in a cool, dry place.

In warm weather the MIX should be refrigerated. Best if used within a month.

For pancakes - add 1 egg to 1 cup mix and water
For biscuits - add water
For pizza dough - add 1/4 c cornmeal, 2/3 c milk to 2 1/2 c mix
For peanut butter cookies - add 3/4 c peanut butter, 1 t vanilla, 1 can condensed milk to 2 c mix
For beer bread - add 1/4 c butter, 1/3 c sugar, 1 can beer to 3 c mix
For meat gravy - add 1 cup meat broth to 2 t mix
