1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder

1 Cup so delicious
1/2 scoop Fibermend (add more if the texture allows)


1 Teaspoon Cacao Nibs: Lots of antioxidants.


1 Packet of loose leaf mint tea run through a coffee grounder or mixed right in the shake


1/4 Cup of basic rolled oats


1 Cup water. (Start with 1/2 cup water and add water to reduce thickness)

The reason I use oats in my shakes is two-fold. 1) They're a great source of slow-digesting complex carbohydrates which provide energy for hours, especially when combined with the protein and coconut milk in the shake. 

2) They're naturally high in beta-glucan, a soluble fiber which promotes satiety, increases the health of our gut flora, and lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. The extra carbohydrate from the oats is key for active individuals to maintain good energy levels.
