Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar

4 c. heavy cream
6 c. whole milk
˝ tsp. salt
1 ˝ TBS. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar slowly. Add rest of ingredients and freeze in ice cream freezer according to directions.

(Gail's directions from White Mountain freezer. I added this in case I forget over time.)
Churn 2 minutes. Add ice. Churn 2 minutes then add 2 cups salt. Churn for 20 minutes adding ice if needed. If add ice, add some more salt. Remove beater and pack bucket with salt and ice. No need to add water. It's the transfer of energy from the salt melting the ice that makes it cold enough to freeze. The key is giving the transfer time to happen. Don't get in a hurry. If you add salt too soon, the ice cream will freeze on the outside of the container and the cold won't transfer to the middle.
