2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
½ tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3T cocoa
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp soda
½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 T cocoa
6 T milk
1 lb. powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Measure sugar, flour and salt in bowl. In a saucepan, put butter, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add eggs, soda, buttermilk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well. Bake in a greased and floured shallow cake pan (151/2” x 10 ½”x 1). Bake 20 minutes @ 350 degrees.


For Frosting:
Mix butter, cocoa and milk in saucepan. Heat over low flame, DO NOT BOIL!! Remove from heat and beat in powder sugar w/ hand mixer. Frost cake. (Can frost while still warm)
