4 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

3 sticks butter softened (I use Land O Lakes Sweet cream, salted)
1 1/4 c white sugar
1 1/4 c brown sugar

2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
Girardelli chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl.
Then blend butter, sugar , brown sugar in a a mixer (kitchen aide mixer with paddle). When blended add 2 eggs and 1 tbsp vanilla. Mix well.
When blended well, add dry ingredients a little at a time. Mix well.
Add 1 1/2 bags of girardelli chocolate chips.
Drop by 1/4 cup onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 14 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes after taking out of oven.

When making cookies, I get 9 cookies on one baking sheet.
For chewy cookies, bake for 14 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
