1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs (beaten)
2 T. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
2 T. flour
lemon rind (freshly grated)
FROSTING:
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. butter
1 T. milk
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. SQUARES: Mix 1 c. flour, 1/4 c. sugar, and 1/2 c. butter. Pat into an 8 in. square pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Mix and pour over crust: eggs, lemon juice, 1 c. sugar, 2 T. flour, and lemon rind. Return to oven and bake 25 minutes. Cool.
FROSTING: Mix together vanilla, 2 T. butter, milk, and powdered sugar. Frost and cut into squares.
