1 pound hamburger meat, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 small green pepper, chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 small can tomato sauce, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, chili powder, salt and pepper, olives.
Brown meat with onion garlic and green pepper. Drain fat if needed. Add tomato sauce and tomatoes and chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for one hour. Add mushroom soup and simmer ten more minutes. Add olives to taste just before serving
This is the recipe my mother gave me when I first started cooking. It has evolved over the years and always includes oregano and/or basil these days
