4 TBS Crisco
1 onion, chopped
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 1/2 C water
8 oz sour cream
Egg noodles
1 TBS salt
1 TBS paprika
1 tsp pepper
Bisquick

Directions:
Directions:
Melt crisco in large stock pot
Chop onion and saute
Add salt, paprika and pepper, combine with onion
Saute chicken in pot, 5 minutes per side
Add water
Simmer for at least an hour or until chicken is cooked all the way through
Once done, remove chicken. Add sour cream to pot and mix with existing sauce
Put chicken back in pot. Make dumplings on top per Bisquick box instructions
Serve over cooked egg noodles
