1 cup plus 2 T flour
¼ t ground cinnamon
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup pecans, finely chopped
½ cup mini chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
½ t vanilla extract
½ cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
Confectioners’ sugar to coat.

Directions:
Cream butter, first measure of confectioners’ sugar, and cinnamon until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Add flour, nuts, and chocolate chips. Mix only until incorporated. Roll into 1 inch balls or form into a 1 inch log. Refrigerate until firm or freeze for later. Slice ¼ inch cookies if in a log. Place onto a cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Remove to rack to cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar (they can be fragile) and cool completely
