2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp butter
2 chicken bouillon cubes or 2 teas bouillon granules
2 tbsp flour
6 cups whole milk
1-1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
generous pinch dry mustard
Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

Condiments: (choose 3 or more)
Chopped green or red peppers
Crumbled crispy bacon
Buttered popcorn
Sliced stuffed olives
Walnut halves
Pimento strips
Toasted slivered almonds
Thinly sliced green onions

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté the chopped onion in the butter until softened. Add the bouillon and mix well. Add the flour and make a roux. Add the milk and cook until slightly thickened. Add the cheese and dry mustard. Cook and stir until the cheese melts. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Serve with variety of options for each person to choose from.
