Dough:
Wee little bit of WARM water
15 tsp of yeast
little bit of salt
2 eggs (room temp)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk warmed with 2 tbsp shortening
Flour (enough to form dough and not be sticky)

Center:
Butter
Cinnamon
Sugar

Icing:
3/4 stick of butter
1 pound of powdered sugar
vanilla (dab)
milk

Just as Aunt Betty Davidson wrote it:

Wee little bit of warm water in bottom of bowl
put yeast in 15 tsp
stir that all up good
little bit of salt
2 eggs at room temp
1/2 cup sugar
let sit 15 min
warm together 1 cup milk with 2 tbsp of shortening
then pour milk and shortening in yeast
add flour until doesn't stick to fingers too bad
then let raise until double size
after raises put on floured wax paper
roll dough out to 1/2 in thickness
spread melted butter, cinnamon and sugar on that
roll up like a jelly roll
cut into pieces about yeah thick
bake at 325º for 10-15 minutes

Icing:
melt butter 3/4 stick then add powdered sugar 1 pound/ vanilla a dab
then add milk till thin enough to spread
