1 ½ pounds fresh asparagus (washed and hard stems snapped off)
2 teaspoons oil
¼ cup water
1 pinch of sugar
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
¼ teaspoon crushed pepper flakes
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon dry sherry
2 tablespoons green onions (white and green part chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the asparagus in 1” pieces. Heat the oil on wok or large skillet on high heat. Add asparagus and stir fry for one minute. Add water and sugar to asparagus, cover and steam for two minutes, shaking the pan a few times. Combine the remaining ingredients. Uncover wok and add remaining ingredients and cook for one minute, stirring to coat the asparagus with the spice mixture. Serve immediately.
