1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1 pastry shell, 9" unbaked

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter to soften. Add sugar gradually and cream till fluffy. Add syrup and salt; beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Stir in coconut and oatmeal. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) fifty minutes or till knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
