1 pkg (2 layer size) spice cake mix
1 cup water
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
¾ cup chopped walnuts
1 pkg (8 oz.) Neufchatel cheese (softened)
1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup thawed cool whip

Directions:
Beat in large bowl the first 5 ingredients, stir in nuts. Pour into 13 x 9 pan sprayed with cooking spray and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Beat Neufchatel cheese and sugar in small bowl; add cool whip and mix well. Spread on cake when cool. Store frosted cake in refrigerator.
