Ingredients:  
- 8 to 10 Italian sausage links (mild or spicy)
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
- Brown sausage in Dutch oven until browned on both sides, set aside
- Sauté onions and peppers in same Dutch oven that sausage was browned in until softened
- Add tomato sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice, mix well
- Return sausage to mixture and cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally
- Serve on hoagie buns
