1 lb French or Italian loaf bread (that is several days old) cubed
8 oz cream cheese cut in small cubes
12 large eggs
1 1/2 c. Milk
1/3 c. Maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Spread 1/2 bread cubes into 13 x 9 pan
Sprinkle 1/2 cream cheese cubes over bread
Repeat layers
Whisk eggs, milk & syrup together until smooth
Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night so bread soaks up egg mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
Preheat oven to 350º
Bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
Serve with warm syrup
