1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
1/4 t grated lemon peel
1/3 c sour cream
2 c flour, sifted
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t ground nutmeg
Confectioners' sugar icing

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar, until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and lemon peel. Stir in sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, stirring until smooth. Chill dough. On lightly floured surface, roll 1/8" to 1/4" thick. Cut into desired shapes with large cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375* for 12-14 minutes. Cool slightly; remove from sheet to cooling rack. Frost with confectioners' sugar icing. Decorate. Makes 1 to 1-1/2 doz large cookies.

FROSTING: 1 c powder sugar, 5 t milk, 1/2 t vanilla, coloring
