1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 small onion-grated
1 clove of garlic-minced
2 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup crumbled sharp cheddar cheese(mclarens imperial)
1 green onion chopped

Directions:
Directions:
in saucepan -heat oil over medium heat-cook onion, garlic, chili powder
stirring-for 5 minutes or until softened-sprinkle with flour cook stirring one
minute.whisk in milk .cook stirring for 5 minutes or until thickened.
remove from heat and add cheese whisk until melted
pour into fondue pot to keep warm .
if desired can be made one day ahead. keep covered and refridgerated.
sprinkle with green onions prior to serving
reheat instructions- reheat for 5-10 min in microwave
serve with fruit, tortilla chips, pita bread, crusty bread cubes, asortment of vegetables for dipping
