2 garlic cloves
1 piece fresh ginger
3 tbsp. fresh lemon or lime juice
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
1 tbsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
2 fresh jalapeno (hot green)
chili pepper, seeded and minced
1 c. nonfat plain yogurt
1 tbsp. paprika, (plus paprika for 1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, peeled)
Lemon or lime wedges.
Fish substitute:(cut 1 1/2 in. cubes 1-2 hours)

flounder
chicken (4-5 hours)

Directions:
Directions:
In blender, combine garlic, ginger, lemon, or lime juice, turmeric, cumin, salt, jalapenos, yogurt, and the 1 tbsp. paprika. Blend. Toss shrimp. Cover and Marinate for about 1 hour. 12 bamboo skewers. Take 2 skewers (thread 4-5). Grill 2 minutes sprinkle with paprika.
