1 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Then add egg, vanilla, and almond flavoring. Sift together flour, soda, and cream of tartar. Add to butter mixture slowly. Cut with cutter on floured board or drop by tablespoon. Bake on an ungreased pan at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.

Frosting:
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. whipping cream
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil together butter and whipping cream. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Frost with warm icing.
