Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Cut up chicken pieces or one whole chicken with the back cut out and flattened.

The sauce:
1 cup of balsamic vinegar
3/4 of a cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/3 Cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1 clove of garlic minced
Salt-and-pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a heavy pot and simmer for 15 minutes until it's reduced by 1/3.

Take your chicken pieces, I prefer thighs myself and salt-and-pepper them on both sides.
Brush on a very thin coating of the sauce and grill on the grill using indirect heat. If you want to sear your chicken on high heat first and then move to interact heat skip putting a thin coat of sauce on the chicken. The sauce on high direct heat will scorch. Repeatedly add sauce until the chicken is done, typically 15 minutes or so. Take the remaining sauce and place in a bowl to be used at the table.

Personal Notes:
I like the sauce a lot because it is just simply different from what I'm used to. The sweetness of the balsamic is something I've always really loved. If you like this sauce look up my chicken breast and balsamic butter reduction recipe. It's wonderful.
