1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal salt 2 Tbsp. oil Boiling water 1 egg
Mix cornmeal and salt, and stir in oil until crumbly. Add boiling water to a consistency for easy spooning. Stir in egg and mix well. Spoon fritter style in to hot grease and fry until brown and crispy.
These are Vance's FAVORITE!!! Great with vegetables or soups!
