1 cup sugar
1/2 t ginger
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
1/4 t salt
2 T flour
3 T strong tea
1 T lemon juice
4 cups apples ( about 8 or 9)
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, spices, salt, flour, tea, lemon juice, and mix well. Alternate apples and sugar mixture until the pie pan is full, heaping slightly in the center. Dot with butter
Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Topping for Pie:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2cup butter, melted
1/2 t cinnamon 1/4 nutmeg

Combine ingredients and put on top of the apple pie.
