1 pound ground beef
1/2 green pepper
1/2 onion cut into small pieces
1 16 oz can of tomato sauce
1 16 oz can of tomatoes
oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet with oil, add the onions and peppers and cook until crisp-tender set aside in a separate bowl. Using the same skillet, brown ground beef in some oil. When meat is browned, add the pepper and onions, and the tomato sauce and canned tomatoes. Heat through about 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve and enjoy.

Nanny always served this over mashed potatoes with peas on the side.
