1-1/2 c butter, softened
2 c sugar
4 eggs
1 t vanilla
5 c flour
2 t baking powder
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover, and chill dough for at least 1 hour. Preheat over to 400º. Roll out dough on floured surface 1/4-1/2" thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter. Place cookies 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 mins.
