3/4 c crisco
2-1/2 c flour
1 c sugar
1 t baking powder
2 eggs
1 t salt
1/2 t lemon flavoring or 1 t vanilla

Frosting:
2 c powdered sugar
10 t milk
1 t vanilla or lemon flavoring

Directions:
Mix crisco, sugar, eggs & flavoring thoroughly. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Chill 1 hour. Roll dough 1/8" thick on floured board. Cut with cookie cutter. Cookie does not raise much when cooking - so can bake close together on ungreased cookie sheet. 6-8 mins @ 400º
