1 c. Sugar
¾ c. Butter or marg.
1 Egg – separated
3 oz. Candied cherries – chopped
1 Red candied pineapple ring – diced
1 Green candied pineapple ring – diced
1 c. Chopped walnuts
1 c. Sifted all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and mix thoroughly. Add flour and salt, blend well. Blend in chopped fruit and nuts. In another bowl, beat egg white until stiff but not dry and fold in.
Drop from teaspoon 2" apart on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake at 350º for 15 min. Cool before removing from foil.
