1 c milk
1 c water + 3 T shortening
1/2 c sugar
1 T salt
2 whole eggs
1/2 c warm water
2 pkgs yeast
5-5 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water and shortening until shortening dissolves. Pour into large mixer bowl. Add cup of cold milk, then sugar and salt. Stir till blended. Beat eggs in cup, pour into bowl with liquid
ingredients. Add yeast(dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water). Then add flour gradually. Mix well and knead until smooth. Let rise once. Punch down. Let rise again. Roll out dough for rolls or coffee cakes or doughnuts. Dough can be made and ready to bake in about 2 1/2 hours
