4-5 lb chuck roast
oil
seasoned salt
carrots, whole, peeled (as many as you want)
potatoes, whole, peeled (as many as you want)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chuck roast in large Dutch oven in a little oil on med heat 15-20 mins on each side. Be careful not to burn. Use seasoned salt to season. Add 1" of water. Cover tightly and put in oven at 350* for 3-1/2-4 hours. Check to make sure there is enough water to keep meat from sticking to pan. About 1 hour before roast is done, add carrots and potatoes.
