1/2 cup Sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/2 cup Blackberry Jam

Frosting
2 TBSP butter
3 TBSP Milk
1/2 cup backed brown sugar
1 and 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter.
Beat in eggs one at a time
Stir together flour and spices. Add to creamed mixture alternating with buttermilk. Beat till well blended.
Fold in Blackberry Jam and nuts leaving ingredients in swirls.
DO NOT OVER MIX

Turn into greased and floured 9x9x2 baking pan

Bake at 350 º for 25 minutes or until center in done.

Frosting:
In saucepan melt butter and stir in brown sugar. Continue cooking and stirring constantly until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Cool for 5 minutes. Stir in milk and blend in powdered sugar. Beat until spreading consistency has been reached.
