1 1b ground beef
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 (1 lb. can of tomatoes)
2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste

1/2 lb lasagna noodles
1 lb Ricotta or cottage cheese
1 tbsp parsley flakes
1/2 lb thin sliced mozzarella

Directions:

Brown beef, drain fat. Add basil, salt, tomato paste, oregano, garlic, and tomatoes; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook lasagna according to directions on package - cover with cold water. Mix cheeses (Ricotta and Parmesan) with parsley flakes.

Line greased casserole dish with 1/2 of the noodles, then spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture, 1/2 of the sauce and 1/2 of the Mozzarella.

Repeat the above process - bake 40 minutes - 350 º.
