1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
3 cups white flour
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup milk
2 tsps. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 tsps. vanilla extract
pinch of salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, add milk to boiling water and stir with a whisk, then add gradually to butter and sugar mixture. Add 1 cup of flour and 1 unbeaten egg mix, then add 2nd. cup of flour and 2nd egg mix, then 3 rd. cup of flour, which the baking powder and salt have been added then mix 3rd. egg. Add lemon and vanilla extracts. Bake 1 hour @ 350 F. I use a 10" Bundt Pan.

I have been making this cake for years, for Birthdays, Christmas and Anniversaries. It is so delicious and my dear Mother Emily Cohoon at 102 1/2 yrs. young loves when I make it for her.
