1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill dough for at least an hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Roll out dough on floured surface about 1/4"-1/2" thickness. Cut into shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1" apart. Bake for 6-8 minutes.
