3 ½ c. Flour
2 t. baking powder
1T. sugar
7 c. shortening (1/2 marg. ½ veg. shortening [cut in])
2 t. butter
2 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated Milk
2 t. vanilla
½ c. flour
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. confectionary sugar


Filling:
2 c. milk
4 T. Flour (heaping)
1c. margarine (softened)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar & baking powder. Cut in shortening & butter. Combine remaining ingredients (except or confectionary sugar) & chill overnight. Work on small pieces of dough @ a time. Roll out on board sprinkled with ½ c. flour & 1 c. conf. sugar. Roll thin & cut into strips. Wrap on clothespin & bake @ 350° 10 – 15 minutes.

Filling: Combine all, cook on low until thickened & cool.
