"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup all purpose flour

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Fresh fruit:
grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blue berries, etc. Do not use bananas or fruit that will bleed juice

Glaze:
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
To make crust combine the ingredients and roll or spread the dough so that it covers the pizza pan. Bake in a medium 350 º F oven. Let the crust cool while you make filling. For filling combine the ingredients and stir until it is smooth and gently spread it over the cooled crust. It should be spread evenly right to the edges of the crust if possible. Arrange the assortment of fruit in one layer on top of the filling in an attractive pattern. Larger fruit like grapes or strawberries should be cut in half. You can use canned pineapple tidbits and mandarin oranges as long as they are well drained and the juice has been patted off using a paper towel. To make the glaze, combined the ingredients in a small pan and cook until the glaze is thick. Cool the glaze and then pour over the pizza.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The glaze needs to be cool enough that it will not "cook" the fruit or melt the filling but it should not be chilled as it will not pour and spread out like you want it to.
