2 pounds pork ribs
1 medium onion 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cans sauerkraut




Directions:
Directions:
In slow cooker, or roasting pan add ribs and onion, fill with 1 cup water add in the caraway seeds and salt and pepper
Cook at 350 or high heat for 3 hours
Can omit the dumplings, onion and sauerkraut if you want. For the potato dumplings mix 2 cups mashed potatoes and 2 cups flour together and form in to balls place in bowling water and cook for 30 minutes. Cool cut into slices
After 3 hours add the sauerkraut and dumplings
Draining half of the liquid in the slow cooker. And cook for 30 minutes.

Note: When we kids were younger and went to the farm, this tasted so good after running in the fields and playing in grandpa’s old 1932 Pontiac, one year there was a bee hive in the car, boy did we run.
