3 eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. margarine
1/2 c. water
2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 T. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate bits
2 apples, grated or finely chopped (2 c.)
1 T. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together eggs, sugar, margarine and water until fluffy. Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, cinnamon and allspice. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in nuts, chocolate, apples and vanilla until evenly distributed. Spoon into greased and floured 10 in. loose bottom tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 60 to 70 min. until cake tests done. It is tender, moist and keeps well. Yield: 10 servings.
