Directions: |
Directions:Add all the ingredients and the Brats and bring to a boil. Want to just come to a boil then reduce to simmer for about five minutes and then Cover and move off the heat and let stand for 15 minutes. Remove the Brats and strain and reserve small portion of the cooking liquid for the glaze. Cook your Brats on a charcoal grill and get a good crust on them.
Glaze: a combination of the cooking liquid, 2 tablespoons of honey and 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. Use just enough of the cooking liquid to thin the mixture. After you have cooked your Brats you can just brush the glaze on before serving. Nice extra touch! |

Notes: This is great way to cook Brats. A note on Brats, read the ingredients. There are a lot of cheep Brats with fillers in them. Look for good quality beef and veal brats.. It really makes a big difference.
