CAKE:
2 c. flour 2 beaten eggs
2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick margarine dash of salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water

ICING:
1 stick margarine
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
dash of salt
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts of choice, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together flour and sugar. Place margarine, oil, cocoa and water into saucepan and bring to a rapid boil. Remove from heat and pour mixture over flour and sugar. Mix well and add eggs, vanilla, salt, buttermilk and baking soda. Mix until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 10-1/2x15-1/2 in. pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. ICING: Place margarine, cocoa, milk and salt into saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add nuts if desired (I use one c. pecans or coconut to frosting) to frosting. Frost cake as soon as you remove from oven.
