2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 c. cake flour, sifted
1 c. sweet milk
3 eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. (4 squares) grated chocolate, melted
1/2 c. cake yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. baking soda
3 T. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:
1 seven min. icing recipe (see recipe)
2 sq. melted chocolate

Directions:
In a bowl, add yeast to warm water and let stand 1/2 hr. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Add sifted flour and milk, alternately. Add well beaten eggs. Add meted chocolate to mixture and blend thoroughly. Add the dissolved yeast, beating it in well. Let stand overnight. In the morning, combine baking soda and hot water until dissolved. Add this and vanilla to the batter, mixing well. Place in 3 well greased 9 in. pans and bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 min.

ICING:
Frost cake with seven min. icing., let stand until the icing has set up. Dribble the melted chocolate over the top, letting it run down the sides of the cake.
