1/2 cup margarine, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine margarine, sugars, peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Blend together very well. Add flour, baking soda and salt with mixer. Chill dough 15 minutes. Roll into balls. Place on a sprayed cookie sheet. . Using a fork , press down the balls in a criss-cross pattern. Bake 7-10 minutes until very lightly browned. Don't overcook. Store in plastic container.
