For casserole:
1 lb beef round steak cut in 1/2" strips
Butter or olive oil for browning
1-1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp Wondra flour
1 cup canned tomatoes
1 cup water
1 (8 oz) can tomato paste
1 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 teas salt
1/4 teas pepper
1/2 teas Worcestershire sauce
3/4 to 1-1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 cup sour cream

For Sour Cream Puffs:
1-1/2 cups flour
2 teas baking powder
1/2 teas salt
1/4 cup butter or shortening
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Brown steak using the butter or oil, stirring occasionally until brown. Stir in the onions and cook until tender. Add flour and cook 2-3 minutes.

Add the tomatoes, water, tomato paste, sugar, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire. Cover and simmer about 1-1/2 hours or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally. Add the mushrooms and cook 4-5 minutes or til mushrooms are tender. Add sour cream and heat gently for about 5 minutes. Top with sour cream puff and bake at 425º for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Make Sour Cream Puffs:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into a mixing bowl. Cut in butter or shortening until particles are fine (use pastry blender or 2 knives). Add sour cream. Stir with a fork until dough clings together in a ball. Pat out on a well-floured surface to 1/2" thickness. Cut 6 to 8 2-1/2" biscuits and top each with a 1" biscuit (use donut hole cutter). Top casserole with biscuits and bake.
