2/3 c. butter 1 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. bn sugar 2 1/2 c.sifted flour
2 eggs 1 tsp ea.soda & vanilla
1/2 tsp ea.baking powder& salt
1 T. vinegar 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter +brn sugar, add eggs & beat well. Add vanilla + vinegar to milk. sift dry ingredients & add alternately with milk mixture to creamed mixture. Drop by T. on cookie sheet. Bake 350* .Cool. Frost w/Golden Glow Icing. =melt butter until it turns brown, add 3 c. powered sugar, then slowly add 1/4 c. boiling water. Beat til holds its shape. Spread on cookies.
