Caramel Mix:
1c. White Sugar
1/2T. Salt
1/4c. Water
1/2c. Butter

Chocolate and Nut mix:
2c. Chocolate bits
Handful of Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a cookie sheet. Cook caramel mixture to light crack stage or 285º. Take off burner- add 1/2c. chopped nuts. Pour mixture onto a well buttered cookie sheet. Cool. Then melt in double boiler, 1c. Chocolate bits. When caramel mixture is cooled spread top with chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. (Sorta pat on). Cool good again. Then melt 1c. chocolate bits, when first side is cool, put another cookie sheet on top & flip. Then spread melted chocolate and nuts to this side and cool. When all is cold, break into pieces.
