1 cup butter (one stick)
8 ounces or 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 cup chopped walnuts or Rice Crispies

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cheese in food processor. Combine with flour, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add nuts or Rice Crispies and mix lightly. Roll into balls, place on parchment paper on a baking stone or baking sheet. Flatten balls with a fork to about 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 325º for 25 - 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

These biscuits make wonderful appetizers for brunch, and I love them with coffee for breakfast. They are very crispy and flaky.
